Unlike conventional soft pillows, our handcrafted buckwheat hull pillows are engineered for airflow.  Buckwheat forms thousands of air pockets, which allow heat to dissipate and promote ventilation, helping you sleep cooler all night long.

Comfort Combinations: Straight Buckwheat or Buckwheat & Wool

You can choose between two versions:

• Pure Buckwheat Pillow: Filled entirely with buckwheat hulls and enclosed in a GOTS certified organic cotton cover.

• Buckwheat & Wool: Adds a chamber filled with your choice of Certified Organic Wool or Untreated Wool (not washed with harmful chemicals).  This soft wool layer cushions your face while the buckwheat below maintains structure and airflow.

 Materials & Health Benefits

• Buckwheat Hulls: Naturally firm yet breathable, as it doesn’t trap heat. Buckwheat conforms well to the head and neck contours.  Ergonomic positioning offers proper spinal alignment, which reduces neck and back pain throughout the night. 

• Wool Options & Qualities: Untreated, chemical free wool or fully GOTS certified organic wool.  Naturally mould resistant, hypoallergenic, and dust mite resistant, making it a good choice for allergy sensitive sleepers.

• NEW!! Organic French Lavender: This herb promotes relaxation by calming nervousness, enhancing sleep quality, and providing natural relief from anxiety and pain. Both options, Buckwheat or Buckwheat with Wool, can have their own chamber for Lavender.

• Organic Cotton Cover: The outer casing is made from breathable Percale GOTS certified organic cotton, and is handmade in our workshop for quality and integrity.
